Senior Digital Strategist Britton Edwards comes to Everywhere with a strong history in traditional public relations and marketing. She is skilled in identifying an organization’s vision, goals and opportunities and providing them with clear digital initiatives and overarching strategy.

Our resident social butterfly, Britton naturally excels in blogger relations and building brand awareness for clients. She manages campaigns for a wide range of projects including Macy’s and Cox Communications.

In a campaign garnering more than 12 million impressions, Britton helped Macy’s socialize the first Macy’s Chefs A-Go-Go food truck tour in ten cities with nine celebrity chefs including Ming Tsai, Cat Cora and Todd English through target market blogger outreach and content creation for Macy’s website and social channels.

In the ever-changing world of social media, she makes sure that the Everywhere team is up to date on current trends and social platforms. As a result of her widespread connections in the blogosphere, she has been deeply involved in the building and curation of the Everywhere Society, a private network of more than 200 bloggers engaged on Everywhere client campaigns.

Britton also conducts extensive social media training for a range of clients, from Fortune 500 executives to small business and nonprofits, teaching them how to engage with current and potential customers on social media as well as how to integrate social media into their upcoming marketing plans.

A skilled public speaker on all things social media, Britton has spoken at universities as well as local and national events. Past public speaking engagements include:

  • University of Georgia New Media Institute
  • Georgia State University – Principles of Marketing and Marketing Research
  • Georgia State University’s first social media marketing course
  • Pink’s 2012 Spring into Ownership event
  • 2010 Digital Atlanta panel – social media for nonprofits
  • ExploreB2B – published article & mentioned in their content marketing white paper

Britton hails from Macon, Georgia and holds a degree in English from The University of the South, Sewanee, Tennessee. She launched her career on Capitol Hill working in the press office of Senator Saxby Chambliss. Her passion for making connections and networking carried over into a recruiting position at Wesleyan College where she developed the first social media profiles for the office of admissions.

When not tweeting or chatting with bloggers, Britton blogs about the world of social media at Life’s Little Commentator and shares her culinary adventures at Delicious Atlanta.
