JoAnn & Terry Kearns / @terrykearns
JoAnn Kearns pays the bills and keeps the books for Everywhere. Born in Kentucky, JoAnn was an Air Force brat who landed at Agnes Scott College. She worked as a bank teller while going to grad school until she was promoted upstairs to become an officer at C&S Bank, now Bank of America. Three children interrupted the banking and the MBA, but not JoAnn. She served as perennial volunteer and President of the PTA in Atlanta’s Morningside / Lenox Park Neighborhood Association. In 1992, JoAnn started her own bookkeeping business and counts Everywhere as one of her favorite, if not most social clients.
Terry Kearns supplies the “muscle” for JoAnn’s bookkeeping business. He was born and raised in High Point, NC with vinegary BBQ sauce in his veins. He stayed in Atlanta after getting his degree at Georgia Tech and marrying JoAnn. Terry retired after 26+ years at BellSouth working in information technology. While JoAnn’s laptop time is devoted to Quickbooks, Terry makes up for it by being the “social” one of the duo. He blogs about architecture and Atlanta at architecturetourist.com and is a devoted re-tweeter of all things Everywhere!
