Marleisse Stephens / @marlovesu
Marleisse is a proud Canadian and the product of a big Jamaican family to whom she attributes much of her success.
As a digital researcher at Everywhere, Marleisse works on a variety of clients and brands such as Macy’s and the African-American, all-female robotics team the Spelbots, and is avidly involved in blogger outreach, event promotions and social media monitoring and research.
Through her work with Macy’s, Marleisse helps promote events across the country and drive blogger and event attendance through social media, including Macy’s Romare Beardon black history month celebration, Macy’s MStyle Labs and a Taste of the NFL. During these campaigns, she helped the team with social content development, online calendar listings and securing posts from mom, food, fashion and event bloggers in key markets across the country.
Marleisse is a graduate of Georgia State University with a degree in journalism and a concentration in public relations. She knew quite early that she wanted to form a career in the journalism/PR field, starting a fashion blog and becoming the public relations coordinator, and later the president, for non-profit service organization Circle K, a sub-chapter of the Kiwanis Club.
Marleisse also has deep passion for fashion. She began interning and subsequently working for luxury boutique Jeffrey Atlanta-New York assisting with their annual charity fashion show “Fashion Cares” and several other fashion events.
Marleisse is a confessed social media addict. At Everywhere she is able to couple her passion for journalism, fashion and service with client campaigns and projects.
