Tamara Knechtel is a seasoned media executive, entrepreneur and founding partner of Everywhere.

Under her leadership, Everywhere has become a national powerhouse working with Fortune 500 companies including Coca-Cola, Humana, Macy’s and Qualcomm as well as new and emerging brands from established companies like Lexis-Nexis and Cox Enterprises. Her expertise covers a variety of industries advising on how to build digital infrastructure and manage social media engagement. Tamara specializes in strategic counsel, social media integration and program development. She has led major product launches as well as campaigns for injecting social into established brands.

Tamara has deep experience in the field of traditional marketing, with broadcast radio and content management having served as the vice president of operations at Radio One. In this role, Tamara was responsible for nearly 70 radio stations in 20 major markets and was intricately involved in Radio One’s exponential growth to become the largest national urban broadcaster. She oversaw a 250 million dollar operational budget and was cornerstone in creating several syndicated programs and events including the Steve Harvey Morning Show, Russ Parr Morning Show and national concerts. In 1999, as a member of the executive team, Tamara helped orchestrate taking Radio One from an owned and operated independent company public, listing it on Nasdaq, to a very successful response.

Tamara made a personal decision in 2005 to become an entrepreneur herself retiring from Radio One to launch a number of successful high-end boutique retail establishments in Las Vegas, Atlanta and Detroit. During this period, she also co-created and oversaw the publication of Ambassador Magazine, the leading glossy Detroit lifestyle magazine.

Before founding Everywhere, Tamara ran an Atlanta-based consulting firm, Connect Consulting, managing a catalog of successful projects in multi-media, including the syndicated broadcast show, Soul Train Radio, and the multi-media on-line record company, ImNotSigned.com.

Tamara was born and raised in Detroit, but due to her Canadian parents, also counts Toronto as her home.
